Evening Classes Available for Business and Technology

REAL ESTATE SALES 90 Hours $485
Tuesday & Thursday 6-9 PM 15 Weeks
WV approved pre-licensing course; covers real estate principles, practices, law, and financing. Upon completion, students are eligible to take the state licensing exam. Additional cost: Text book, exam and license fee. -
AUTO BODY REPAIR 36 Hours $380
Thursday 4-7 PM 12 Weeks Spring Semester
Hands on training in Plastic Repair, Mig Welding, and Refinish Techniques. -
ELECTRICAL CODING 2020 NEC 45 Hours $280
Thursdays 5:00-8:00 PM 15 Weeks Spring Semester
This class will cover material from the National Electrical Code book including definitions, wiring methods and material, and equipment for general use. This class will help individuals prepare to take the Apprentice Electrician or Journeyman Electrician Exam through the WV State Fire Marshal. -
BASICS OF ELECTRICAL WIRING 36 Hours $405
Thursdays 5:00-8:00 PM 12 weeks Fall Semester
The class will help individuals gain an understanding and skill for the following: Conduit Bending, Device Wiring (Single Pole, 3-Way and 4 Way Switches, Receptacles, Dimmer Controls, etc.), Panel Wiring, Circuit Breakers, and Cabling Installation. -
WELDING 80 Hours $575
Tuesday & Thursday 4-7 PM 14 Weeks
Learn the skills of welding with hands-on training that specializes in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (stick) and Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG). The class will cover basic to advanced training depending on your experience.

CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (CNA) 120 Hours $1220
Students participate in 120 hours of classroom and clinical training in order to prepare for a health career and to meet requirements for CNA licensure – WV Health Dept. Certified. Students will learn the necessary skills to give basic personal care to individuals in nursing home or hospital settings. Must pass background check and drug test. Additional costs: Background check, TB, physical, & uniforms.

PRACTICAL NURSING MEDICAL TERMINOLOGY/MATH FOR MEDS (Prerequisite for PN Program) 115 Hours $500
Medical Terminology - Online - This course provides a comprehensive introduction to Medical Terminology which is organized by body systems with an emphasis on anatomy and physiology, pathological conditions, and diagnostic treatment and procedures.
Math for Meds - Tuesdays 3-6 PM - This course is designed to prepare students to calculate dosages accurately prior to the administration of medications. The course includes basic arithmetic, apothecary, metric, and household conversions. Students learn how to read labels and calculate dosages using ration and proportion and the formula method.

MEDICAL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT with EHR (Electronic Health Records) Online Class $3499
This program prepares you to manage the day-to-day operations of a medical facility; updating and organizing medical records including electronic health records, scheduling and coordinating appointments, verifying patient insurance, completing and submitting insurance claims and Microsoft Office skills.

MEDICAL BILLING Online Class $3399
The online Medical Billing program helps you gain hands-on experience working with industry forms. You’ll learn how to fill out paperwork and then practice by filling out several forms yourself. This program also covers Medical Terminology, payers, payment systems, and reimbursement methodologies, billing and collections, basics of billing software tools, and a brief introduction to medical coding.

MEDICAL CODING AND BILLING PROFESSIONAL Online Class $3699
Students will learn Medical Terminology, Anatomy, Physiology, Coding and Billing. Prepares you for the AAPC national certification exams -CPC,COC and/or AHIMA –CCA exam. This covers information pertaining to coding for clinics, doctor offices and hospitals.

MEDICAL SCRIBE Online Class $3199
This program includes extensive training in medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, electronic health records, and HIPPA. It prepares you to take the Medical Scribe Certification exam so you will be ready to work in a physicians’ office, hospital or even from home.

PHARMACY TECHNICIAN Online Class $3899
This course prepares you for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Exam and includes a 130 hour Externship. You will train for careers in both retail and institutional healthcare settings. This is one of the only online pharmacy technician programs that is accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP)/ Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE).

Medical Transcription Editor $3799
As a medical transcriptionist, you’ll be typing (i.e. transcribing) audio recordings of doctors’ notes for patients’ medical records. You can also opt for an editing position using the skills you’ve learned in our medical transcription editing course, where you’ll proof, and correct reports generated by speech-recognition software.
