United Technical Center has some key classes to help you with your job applications and updates to those applications. The class that will help you with your resume on your career journey is the Capstone Work Experience. This class is a partnership with schools, business owners, managers, and industries around Doddridge, Harrison, or Taylor counties. Students will be able to go to school and do part-time work to get actual working experience. This can be used towards your resume and portfolio.
UTC’s Simulated Workplace Program requires you to submit a portfolio for review by your instructor and a business industry representative. These classes and many more will provide you with real-world experience to further your career.
